Tequeños Factory is a Venezuelan food company which brings the traditional and authentic latin flavor to Utah in all the products under its brand, here is a briefing about Tequenos Factory’s products:
• Tequeños: Caribbean gourmet cheese sticks rolled in pastry dough, this handcrafted product is a great combination of a semi soft and semi salty cheese with an artisan dough that results in an irresistible snack at any occasion for kids and adult, it goes well with any dipping sauce.
• Queso Blanco: semi soft and semi salty, this mild cheese has many uses in the kitchen, it can be grated on top of black beans, plantains, holds the shape while heated so it can be grilled or fried and used as a snack with crackers or bread.
• Green Salsa: described like out of this world or off the hook, this is a winner award recipe at the Wasatch Front Farmers Market in 2011, avocados, onions, garlic, cilantro, green bell peppers, white vinegar, canola oil, it has a great performance on steaks, grilled chicken, baked potatoes, beef tacos, chips and salsa, and much more…..
• Garlic and Herbs Dipping Sauce: made with a base of light mayo, garlic and parsley this is the perfect pairing for the tequeño, however it is also great on fish tacos, sandwiches, jalapeño poppers and other snacks.
• Empanadas: corn based dough stuffed with black beans, rice, plantain and shredded beef, this is served ready to eat during the farmers market and at the Utah Food Co-op, it is naturally gluten free and it could be made vegetarian if requested.
